Covid: Steps to limit potential exposure.
-All sessions will be kept to 15 athletes or less. Our facility has over 5000 sq ft of active gym space and an outdoor 60 yard track lane.
- All athletes will be required to have their body temperature verified by a coach prior to every sessions. We ask for full cooperation.
-We will peform frequent cleanings in high traffic areas.
-Athletes will be required to wipe down benches after completing their sets. We will limit the number of athletes using a piece of equipment at one time.
-Gloves and mask can be worn if desired. We have a limited number of disposable gloves.
The most important preventive measure comes down to each athlete and their parents ensuring they do not come to the gym if they are not feeling well for an unknown reason or they are aware of having been exposed to someone who recently tested postive for Covid.
-When possible, portions of our speed and agility training will be moved outdoors to our track area.

Some things to look for as a parent when selecting a speed and strength program for your child?
Many parents are over-paying for"speed and strength" gyms that are nothing but glorified overcrowded conditioning sessions that have little chance to improve overall athleticism.
Things to look for:
1) Offer of "unlimited training". If athletes are training every day, then program is not based on science, but just random exercise.
2) Class size is more than 12 athletes per coach.
3) Class combines high school and college athletes with elementary students.
4) Athletes are not baselined on certain measurements such as sprint speed and vertical jump.
5) Athletes do not track any of their weights lifted in their exercise program.
6) Coaches do not have a bachelors degree in a science and there is not a coach on the staff with a CSCS certification from NSCA. Not all certifications are equal.
