ABOUT COACH CHLOE
Coach Chloe’s athletic dreams were conceived on township fields as a three-sport recreational league athlete. She played basketball, softball, and soccer year round. By middle school she found success after joining her 7th grade track and field and becoming a Ches-Mont Champion Hurdler. It was then she decided to pay it forward and began her coaching career at age 14 as a Lil Kickers coach at United Sports. She has been dedicated to sharing her passion for athletics to youth ever since.
After seeing tournament and travel club culture cut out youth of a familiar socioeconomic status, she founded Track Stars, a recreational track and field league which has now served over 800 families. She founded the 501(c)3 as just a sophomore in high school, now Track Stars is currently in its 8th season with teams in Downingtown, West Chester, and Kennett.
In 2020, after a successful high school track campaign was cut short, she earned a Division 1 Track and Field scholarship as a Multi for Robert Morris University. While earning her degree in Sports Management at the Honors College, she ran the 60mH, 100mH, 200m, 400m, 800m, and competed in the High Jump, Long Jump, Shot Put and Javelin. She continued to coach youth in running and fitness through Pittsburgh’s Kids of STEEL program.
Coach Chloe’s training methods combine a NCAA track & field background and almost a decade of youth athletics coaching experience, all the while including a holistic approach for all youth to have physical literacy for lifelong success.
COACHING PHILOSOPHY
Her coaching philosophy is centered on developing healthy lifelong athletes, not just improving short-term performance. She builds foundations in physical fitness, movement quality, and athletic fundamentals so youth can succeed across sports and stay healthy as they grow. Her training is challenging, but it’s also engaging and confidence-building. Chloe believes athletes learn best when they feel supported, motivated, and capable.
Chloe had experienced a tumultuous college career with COVID and over-use injuries plagueing a lifelong dream. People, she found, are what can make or break an athlete’s success. She hopes to prepare youth for the ups and downs of Division 1 dreams, from identity to performance.
Chloe’s passion for Social Emotional Learning and Long Term Athletic Development was defined by her own athletic experience. She creates a caring and empathetic approach to how young athletes train and grow through their careers. Her programming gamifies training, focuses on individualized needs, and never fails to challenge athletes of all levels.
